A.J.S. SLOW FLOW

GREAT FOR BEGINNERS!

30 minute class:  Mondays @ 6:30 p.m.

60 minute class:  Thursdays @ 5:30 p.m.

Registration Required - No Drop-Ins

The A.J.S. Vinyasa Slow Flow practice synchronizes breath and movement. Detailed instruction coupled with movements that follow the breath make this a great practice for anyone who wants to slow down.  Posture variations are offered allowing practitioners to meet the needs of their body, which may include the use of supports including blocks, straps, blankets and chairs. Regardless of physical ability, all classes at A.J.S. Yoga & Wellness practice coordination of breath with physical movement, focus and concentration, and help students maintain or improve mobility.

"JOYFUL" FLOW YOGA

60 minute class:  Saturdays @ 8:30 a.m.

Registration Required - No Drop-Ins

The Joyful flow class synchronizes breath and movement.  We begin by turning attention to the breath and intention setting, then move to a continuous flow from one posture to the next.  The Joyful Vinyasa class is not a power practice, but students will build strength, balance and mental focus.  Posture variations are offered to meet the needs of your body, which may include using a chair for stability.

"AUTHENTIC" CHAIR YOGA

60 minute class - Tuesdays @ 6:00 p.m.

Registration Required - No Drop-Ins

The Authentic Chair class is an accessible, seated practice which incorporates breath with movements that build strength, flexibility, balance and mental focus.  This class is great for anyone who has difficulty moving from a standing to seated position, those who want to avoid postures that require weight-bearing on the wrists or anyone who just wants to try something different!

"SELF" YIN + RESTORATIVE

GREAT FOR BEGINNERS!

30 minute class:  Saturdays @ 9:45 a.m.

60 minute class:  Mondays @ 5:00 p.m. & Thursdays @ 7:00 p.m.

Registration Required - No Drop-Ins

Yin yoga in the introspective, quiet, passive sister to a yang (physical/flow) practice.  In yin yoga, all of the postures are practiced low to the ground (usually seated or lying down) and are held for 1 - 3 minutes.  This allows the muscle time to relax into the pose and for gravity to do its thing!  This class ends with a few relaxing restorative poses to quiet the mind and reset the body.

BRING YOUR BUBBLE - $70

Contact us to schedule this class

Bring your bubble to this private group class for up to 6 people!  Choose a yin/restorative, vinyasa flow, slow vinyasa flow, or chair practice.  One person registers, pays for the class and provides email addresses for up to 5 additional yogis.  The class link and code will be sent so that all may register for the class.  Registration of all participants is required.
